pdf  Stratigraphy and characteristics of the sedimentary cover sequences of the western Laptev Sea shelf
To date there is no common point of view on the tracing of the reflectors and their stratigraphic tie within the section of the western Laptev Sea shelf. Numerous reflectors have been identified there by different researchers since CDP reflection technique was applied. These reflectors have various indices and date back to the period from Riphean to Cenozoic. New ways of the sedimentary cover stratification have appeared due to new data obtained by MAGE since 2005 (11000 km of CDP reflection lines). The author's scheme of the sedimentary framework of the western Laptev Sea shelf presented in the article is an additional argument for one of the concepts of the Laptev Sea framework.
Key words: seismic sequence, reflector, sedimentary cover, folded basement, the Laptev basin, the Eurasian basin, the West-Laptev rift system.
