| Currently, the main prospects for the discovery of new hydrocarbon deposits on the Nepa-Botuoba oil and gas area, Lena-Tunguska province associate with carbonate Vendian-Lower Cambrian sediments. The lithological characteristics of reservoir rocks and reservoir properties are provided. These carbonate deposits were subjected to secondary processes. The ratio of lithological variability of rocks depends on primary characteristics of carbonate sedimentation and following epigenetical processes.
