| Petroleum prospects and characteristics of productive units of the Cambrian inter-salt section belonging to the central part of the Lena-Tunguska petroleum province | |
| In recent years, a significant amount of geological and geophysical research has been carried out on the Siberian Platform territory, which has made it possible to substantially clarify the petroleum potential of subsalt and inter-salt Cambrian sequences. The characteristic of productive units in the inter-salt section of the Lower and Middle Cambrian in the central and southern regions of the Lena-Tunguska province is given. Areas promising for the search for oil and gas accumulations in the inter-salt deposits of the Lower and Middle Cambrian were identified. It is shown that for the central part of the Central Tunguska petroleum region, these deposits may turn out to be one significant important objects of exploration.
