pdf Influence of structural and textural heterogeneity of carbonate rocks on their petrophysical properties and promising zones identification for the search of hydrocarbon accumulations in the Bukhara-Khiva region
The paper highlights the results of the analysis of core and cuttings of carbonate rocks in several areas of the Bukhara-Khiva region. Diverse genetic types of carbonate rocks and their petrovarieties identified, and diagenetic-epigenetic processes determined. Reservoir properties of carbonate rocks identified by well logging, porosity and permeability by core with their confinement to several genetic types and petrovarieties are given in order to assess the influence of structural and textural heterogeneity of carbonate rocks. Together with post-sedimentation processes on the petrophysical properties of carbonate rocks were used to identify objects of search for accumulations hydrocarbons carefully considering a selection of promising areas.

pdf Current state and development prospects of geological exploration activity for oil and gas in the Fergana Region of the Republic of Uzbekistan
The Fergana region is one of the five petroleum bearing regions of the Republic of Uzbekistan with proven industrial productivity in the stratigraphic range from Paleozoic to Neogene, including. An overview of the history of geological and geophysical exploration, lithological and stratigraphical characteristics of sections, tectonic structure and oil and gas content with stratigraphic and tectonic features of fields, their phase composition, the results of exploration activity, including those carried out by investors, the number of discovered petroleum accumulations, their ranking, concerning type of fluids. Highlighted the priority stratigraphic sections and territories for further exploration. Further oil and gas prospects of the region are justified by the presence of traps, as well as predicted and promising petroleum resources, which indicates the feasibility of further exploration for oil and gas in the Fergana region of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The Surkhandarya region is one of the five petroleum bearing regions of the Republic of Uzbekistan, with proven oil and gas production in the stratigraphic range from the Middle Upper Jurassic to the Upper Paleogeone, inclusive. The article provides a general overview of the region, the history of geological and geophysical exploration, lithological and stratigraphic characteristics of sections, tectonic structure, oil and gas content. The stratigraphic and tectonic confinement of accumulations and their phases composition are given. The history of the development of the region is considered, the results of geological petroleum exploration, including those carried out by investors, the number of petroleum discoveries, their ranking by types of fluids, and the degree of development are presented. The priority stratigraphic structures and territories for further petroleum exploration have been identified. Further oil and gas prospects of the region are justified by the presence of promising traps, as well as predictedand promising hydrocarbon resources. The forecasted resources of hydrocarbon raw materials are given for stratigraphic sections: Middle-Upper Jurassic, Lower Cretaceous, Upper Cretaceous and Paleogene age, which indicates the expediency of carrying out prospecting petroleum exploration in the Surkhandarya region of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The South-West Gissar region is one of the five oil and gas regions of the Republic of Uzbekistan, with proven industrial production for oil and gas belonging to the carbonate sections of the Middle Upper Jurassic. The article provides a general overview of this region, the history of geological and geophysical knowledge, lithological and stratigraphical characteristics, tectonic structure and petroleum potential. The stratigraphic and tectonic habitat of petroleum accumulations and their phase composition are presented. The history of the petroleum development of the region is considered, the results of exploration activity, including those conducted by investors, the number of open petroleum accumulations, their ranking by fluid types, and the degree of development are presented. Priority stratigraphic structures of rocks and territories for further geological exploration activity were identified. The region’s oil and gas prospects are justified by the presence of promising traps, as well as promising and forecasted hydrocarbon resources. The forecast hydrocarbon resources for several stratigraphic levels are presented: Lower-Middle Jurassic and Middle-Upper Jurassic, which indicates the feasibility of further exploration activity for oil and gas in the South-West Gissar region of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

pdf Current state of petroleum exploration activity and their evolution in the Bukhara-Khiva area (Uzbekistan)
The Bukhara-Khiva region is the main petroleum bearing area in the Republic of Uzbekistan, not only in the production of hydrocarbons, but also in its annual growth. The article provides an overview of their region, the history of geological and geophysical knowledge, lithologic and stratigraphic characteristics of several sections, their tectonic structures and their oil and gas content. The stratigraphic and tectonic confinement of these sections and their phase composition are presented. The results of geological exploration, and the history of the region development is considered, including those carried out by investors, the number of discovered accumulations, their ranking by fluid type, and the degree of development are too presented. Priority stratigraphic columns of rocks and areas for further exploration have been identified.
The region’s oil and gas prospects are substantiated by the presence of a significant and promising traps, as well as promising and predictable hydrocarbon resources too. Predictable resources of hydrocarbon feedstocks are presented by stratigraphic sections: Paleozoic, Lower Middle Jurassic, Middle Upper Jurassic and Lower Cretaceous, which indicates a high hydrocarbon potential and feasibility of further exploration for oil and gas in the Bukhara-Khiva area of Uzbekistan.

pdf Current state and development prospects of exploration activity for oil and gas in the Ustyurt region (Uzbekistan)
The Ustyurt region is one of the main oil and gas bearing regions in Uzbekistan. The article provides a general overview of this region, the history of geological and geophysical knowledge, lithologic and stratigraphic characteristics of several sections, tectonic structure, and oil and gas content. The stratigraphic and tectonic confinement of petroleum accumulations and their phase composition is presented. The history of the petroleum activity development of the region is considered, the results of geological exploration, including those carried out by investors, the number of discovered accumulations, their ranking by type of fluids, and their degree of development are presented. Priority stratigraphic rocks sequences and areas for further exploration have been identified. The oil and gas prospects of the region are justified by the low development of the initial total recoverable resources and the presence of a significant pool of prospective traps. Predicted hydrocarbon resources are presented for several stratigraphic sections: Upper Jurassic, Middle Jurassic, Lower Jurassic and Paleozoic, which indicates a high hydrocarbon potential and feasibility of further exploration for oil and gas in the Ustyurt region of Uzbekistan.
