| Stratigraphical value of structure elements of cretaceous inoceramides | |
| For the first time, in this paper, the inoceramides with the ligament strip of the patootensis type are widely presented. The representatives of the inoceramides are used as species-indices to designate the separate segments of the Cretaceous system. The possibility of using the ligament strip of the patootensis type for determining the age of host rocks is outlined. The territory of replacing the bio-events influenced on the change of composition of the biocoenoses in the Santonian-Early Campanian is defined concretely.
