| Peculiarities of estimation of hydrocarbon reserves of the undistributed fund offshore fields | |
| In the period of 1983-1992, 11 hydrocarbon fields were discovered on the Russian shelf. Up to now, they are in the undistributed fund. All these fields, with the exception of the Murmansk large field and Kaliningrad small field, have been discovered and explored by one-two wells. Their reserves, making up 2.7 billion t o.e. including about 21% of cat. C1, have been estimated on the data of these wells. The ways of choosing the sections for calculating the reserves of cat. C1 are significantly distinct. There are four basic ways of choosing the calculating sections depending on estimation time and place
