| New data on eocene radiolarians of the Nizhnevolgian oil-gas region | |
| The complex of radiolarians of the Ethomosphaera (?) polysiphonia zone and beds with Theocyrtis (?) andriashevi which includes 20 species belonging to 13 genera and 8 families has been revealed in the Eocene deposits of the Solon upper part and the Beloglin lower part formations on the territory of the Nizhnevolgian oil-gas region. For the first time the radiolarians of these subdivisions have been found together with the foraminifera on which Middle-Late Eocene age was established. Tables with the picture of characteristic species of the radiolarians are given. Key words: radiolarians, Eocene, Nizhnevolgian oil-gas region. |
