| Neogene foraminifers of the Bering shelf, Anadyr oil-gas basin offshore | |
| The Anadyr oil-gas basin located within the limits of the Anadyr-Navarin oil-gas region. In its onshore part, three oil and gas fields are discovered and commercial hydrocarbon inflows are received at two structures. The well Central 1, drilled in its offshore part, is the first well in the Russian sector of the Bering Sea. New biostratigraphic data, received in processing core material, add the present view of micropaleontological characteristic and biostratigraphy of Anadyr basin Cenozoic deposits. Nine beds with benthic foraminifers are recognized in the Neogene deposits penetrated by the well. Key words: Bering shelf, Anadyr basin, Neogene deposits, foraminifers, biostratigraphy. |
