Area of scientific interest: methods of interpretation of seismic data in condition of poor drilling; substantiation of new oil and gas exploration areas in the southwest of the Siberian platform (structural and lithologic traps in Vendian deposits), in the Yenisei- Khatanga trough (trap of "Achimov" type in a wedge-like complex) and Pre-Yenisey part of Western Siberian Plate (combined type of traps in Jurassic sediments).
Author and co-author of guidelines and more than 50 scientific articles and monograph.

|Payakh oil bearing area (Taimyr Peninsula) - hard-to-recover oil|
|New data obtained over the period 2014-2019 as a result of the geological exploration on the Taimyr Peninsula subsoil and in the programmes of the Federal Agency, provide the justification for a substantial expansion of the highly promising area in the western part of the Yenisei-Khatanga trough and the selection of Payakh oil bearing area.
Using the example of the Payakh oil discovery, the features of this geological structure and his prospective objects are considered, the criteria for predicting the sand bodies oil content of the Achimov formation (Lower Cretaceous) are outlined, it made possible to clarify the resource volume of the research area and to ensure a significant increase in oil resources.

|Oil and gas perspectives of clinoform complex of Yenisey-Khatanga regional trough|
|In terms of economic efficiency, the main task of current-stage geological prospecting in the target region is the search of oil deposits, which are, according to the results of conducted research, connected with depositional and structural-depositional traps, widely developed in the Neocomian clinoform complex. Regional seismic-geological model of the Neocomian clinoform complex, containing more than 60 percent of Yenisey-Khatanga regional trough initial recoverable resources (hydrocarbon liquids and gas in barrels of oil equivalent) is composed. Payakha oilfield case study is presented to show the details of prospective objects geologic structure and to explain methodological approaches of their search. Basing on complex seismic and well data interpretation results, several depositional hydrocarbon traps have been defined in the limits of allocated license blocks, two of which were already drilled and revealed new oil deposits. It is advised, in this connection, to concentrate exploration efforts on searching of non-structural traps in clinoform complex in most submerged (axial) part of trough. This zone is the first priority target to license local blocks for oil and gas searches.

|Geological structure and petroleum potential of the Malyshev reservoir (north-east of Western Siberia)|
|The integrated interpretation of geological, geophysical and geochemical data was carried out; the formation features and geological structure of the Middle Jurassic Malyshev formation were studied together with the history of organic matter transformation.
The structural-tectonic map was drawn along with organic matter katagenesis map for the top of the Malyshev formation. The directions for tectonic and lithological hydrocarbon traps prospecting were identified on the southern slope of the Messoyakha-Malohetsky megaswell.
