pdf Structural model of the Vendian section belonging to the north-eastern part of the Nepa-Botuoba Anteclise, based on the structural cross-sections and sequence-stratigraphic modeling concerning Nepa Arch and Mirny Ridge areas
The author’s studies on the north-eastern part of the Nepa-Botuoba anteclise are considered and summarized, which are based on sedimentological, stratigraphical, geological and geophysical data. The author distinguished in the Mirny Ridge 4 transgressive-regressive sequences of the 3rd order in the interval of the Kursov and Buk Formations of the Botuoba area. The system paths and supporting surfaces are determined - the boundaries of sequences, transgressive boundaries, and the levels of maximum flooding too. When regionally examining the study area, the Vendian section it was possible to divide this zone into 5 third-order sequences and breaks in sedimentation. The geological history of the territory during the Nepa and Tyra development is examined in detail.

pdf Sequence stratigraphic model of Nepa and Tira Vendian Formations located in the central part of the Nepa Arch (the Nepa-Botuoba anteclise, Sibeian Platform)
Petrofacial and sedimentological core description of Nepa and Tira Formations composition is made for research of sedimentary cover structure. The key sequence stratigraphic surfaces are produced: sequence borders, transgressive borders, and the high sea level surface. In the time interval of Nepa and Tira Formations four sequences of the third order are observed. The system tract characteristics of the identified sequences are given. It’s noticed, that at the top of Vch-1 productive unit a subaerish gap with supralittoral evaporates was identified, that conforms to the geological border between Nepa and Tira geological development stages.
