|Study of fracturing in carbonate reservoirs of Timan-Pechora petroleum province using side-view seismic location|
|An overview of side-view seismic location technology carried out to study fracturing of the geological environment is presented. The results of special reprocessing of seismic data using this technology based on regional seismic profile within the studied region (Komi Republic territory) are given. This research allowed us to identify areas with different fracturing intensity in the sedimentary cover, mark local objects and assess their prospects in terms of distribution and extent of fracturing. The potential oil and gas resources were estimated in these objects; and the most attractive of them were selected for further study.
