pdf  Eastern edge of Khoreyver petroleum sub-basin (Timan-Pechora basin) - petrogenesis of the Famennian reservoirs
The relationship between Famennian sedimentation conditions and reservoir rocks properties was studied. As a result of supergene processes, initially porous rocks were leached; this lead to significant improvement of filtration-capacitive properties. Non permeable rocks became permeable reservoir rocks only as a result of cracking and dissolution processes with the formation of cavities and leaching pores.
