|Western Siberia: some historical elements and new perspectives|
|West Siberian petroleum mega-province was discovered fifty years ago. This was facilitated by the professionalism, enthusiasm and boldness of Soviet geologists and effective leadership at the state level. Many oil and gas largest fields are characterized nowadays by declining production and drop in commercial indices. The challenge is to retain and even increase petroleum potential of West Siberia. The solution is to study the current geo-fluid-dynamic processes in the gradient expression and implement new exploration and development technology, especially in the Paleozoic carbonate complex. Rehabilitation cycles are required for "old" fields.

|Dynamics of oil field’s «life»|
|Nowadays the problem of improved and enhanced oil recovery of producing fields is a key problem in petroleum geology. Different methods of increasing of oil recovery are developed and implemented today. There are 1500 active projects in the world, and annual production growth through enhanced oil recovery methods is estimated at 100-120 million tons. However this is only 2% of the total oil produced in the world, which is equivalent to the total transport loss.
A new conception of development, conservation and recovery of oil and gas reserves is presented.

|New data on the geology and petroleum potential of the Maloichsky field Paleozoic of Western Siberia|
|Stratigraphic and facies regularities of fracture reservoirs’ developing of the Maloichsky field are revealed. Morphology of petroleum deposits as well as morphology of fluid-tectonic processes within reef massifs is substantiated by focal hydrocarbon generation on depth. Peculiarities of distribution of fracture reservoirs of reef type allow us to forecast high debit areas and optimize network of producing boreholes.
