pdf  Structure and formation conditions of the Lower Cretaceous reservoir BV-8 - Povkhovskoe oil field (Western Siberia)
Structural and genetic analysis of cores and log data (SP curves) has shown that strata BV-8 of the Povkhovskoe oil field consists of 10 transgressive-regressive systems of layers, which were formed as a result of migration landscapes (deep muds, “rag sands” and sand dikes) during the rise and fall of the sea level. It has been found that sand strata are represented by lenses that consist of two layers: the lower (accumulated in the final phase of regression), and the upper (accumulated at the beginning of transgression of the next sedimentation cycle). The obtained results do not confirm the clinoform model of strata BV-8 due to low resolution of seismic profiling, which only allows to reveal some general boundaries of a number of diachronic sands lenses, that are located en echelon and overlap each other.

pdf  Structure and genesis history of Kara-Silovoyahsky devonian organogenic complex (southeastern Pai-Khoi)
New data about the size, shape, composition and structural features of the Devonian organogenic complex (Kara Silova-Yakha interfluve, southeastern Pai-Khoi) are presented. The interpretation of these features is related together with reconstruction of genesis history of this organogenic complex, under the influence of the transgressive-regressive phases of the paleobasin evolution. The study results can be used in geological mapping and in core analysis of wells of the Pre-Urals Trough, where prospective hydrocarbon reservoirs are related to the brecciated aprons, produced by crushing and fracturing of such organogenic structures.

pdf  Sequence stratigraphy of the Upper Paleozoic, Kolguev Island
The developed and published lithological-genetic typification of Kolguev Island Upper Paleozoic deposits allowed generalizing the materials received by interval core recovery from a series of exploration wells. The basic regularities in localization of established lithotypes have been determined on the basis of constructing a series of lithological-genetic profiles. As a result six sequences - natural historical geological bodies - have been established. Their forming is associated with the large transgressive-regressive cycles of sedimentation. More complete idea of the peculiarities of structure of the Kolguev Island Upper Paleozoic is received.
