pdf  Upper Devonian - Lower Carboniferous succession, Kostyanoy Cape, Vaygach Island
Results of multidisciplinary study of the Upper Devonian – Lower Carboniferous succession of the NE of the Vaygach Island are described. T-R cycles, biostratigraphical units based on foraminifers and conodonts, and magnitostratigraphic zones have been identified in the section for a first time. Due to complete carbonate succession of the Middle Famennian – Upper Visean, the section is considered as a key one of the NW of the Pay-Khoy – Vaygach region and the east of Barents Sea shelf.
Key words: stratigraphy, Upper Devonian, Lower Carboniferous, Foraminifera, Conodonta, palaeomagnetism, Vaygach Island.
