| Pаleogeomorphological, mineralogical, lithologic and facies criteria of the improved reservoirs of the Middle Jurassic deposits of the north of Frolovskaya depression (Western Siberia) have been covered. These criteria have formed the basis for the determination of the forecast zones for reservoirs rocks development able to host commercial oil deposits. The results of the research made will allow to increase the efficiency of oil and gas exploration.
