pdf Correlation of Proterozoic-Phanerozoic deep wells sections targeting Aldan-Maya area petroleum potentiality estimation
The article discusses the debatable issues of well log correlation of the Riphean, Vendian, Cambrian and Mesozoic sections, promising for the search for oil and gas in the Aldan-Maya potentially petroleum bearing region. The author's proposed correlation version is based on the interpretation of well logging data, seismic surveys, studying of deep well cores, stock and published data. The results obtained can be used to refine the stratigraphic correlations of wells and build maps. The history of studying the geological structure of the territory of the Aldan-Maya potentially petroleum bearing region was also analyzed, during which numerous indications of oil and gas potential were identified. The generalization of the performed exploration actitvity made it possible to identify Proterozoic and Phanerozoic oil and gas bearing strata. The characteristics of these sections are given. It is shown that the prospects for the discovery of oil and gas accumulations in the Aldan-May area are estimated quite highly.

pdf New data about the Lower-Middle Cambrian strata of the North Tunguska prospective petroleum bearing region, taking into account the last results of regional exploration activity
The paper describes the formation conditions of the Lower-Middle Cambrian strata perspective petroleum bearing in the North-Tunguska region. The position of the barrier reef system has been newly interpreted. It is shown that, to the north and east of the barrier reefs system, the section of the May time are represented by a sequence of organo-clastic carbonates forming several clinoform structures, which overlap the carbonate and kerogen-siliceous-carbonate strata of the Kuonam Formation. In terms of sedimentary structure, these sections are very similar to those of Western Siberia, but they are not formed by terrigenous rocks but by carbonate ones. The results of seismogeological modeling of the clinoform May age structure are presented. A description of the two paleogeographic schemes of the Toyon and May Cambrian ages is given. The high prospects of oil and gas content of this territory have been substantiated.
