In the Western Siberia region abundance of hydrocarbons are trapped in the Neocomian clinoform regional structure. Detailed paleomorphological and paleogeographical studies are essential for the trap and seal assessment, mainly due to clinoform structure complicating. This paper describes changes of the paleobathymetry and the paleomorphology during clinoforms building time. This article covers some aspects in the regional clinoform deposition model and therefore could be used as a basis for the exploration works for the traps mapping.
