pdf  On the influence of catagenetic variations of the Lower-Middle Jurassic deposits of the West Siberian sedimentary basin on their petroleum potential
The influence of catagenetic processes of the Lower-Middle Jurassic deposits transformations on hydrocarbon phase state variations is considered based on vertical catagenetic zonation of rocks studied from more than 300 deep exploratory and stratigraphic well sections, on oil and gas-condensate composition considering quantitative indexes of material composition and rock transformation level. The results obtained may be taken into account in the forecast of hydrocarbon phase state variations, enhanced reservoirs, quality of oil in areas poorly explored by drilling.
Key words: catagenetic zonation, terrigenous rocks, petroleum potential, oil composition, improved reservoir, Lower-Middle Jurassic, West Siberia.
