The largest hydrocarbon fields - basis for development of Central Asia mineral resources base | |
The hydrocarbon potential of large oil and gas accumulation areas of Central Asia is analyzed together with the distribution of proven and probable oil and gas reserves in the six areas. The distribution and genesis of the largest oil and gas fields are studied. Total reserves amount of 275 largest accumulations is calculated. Efficiency of hydrocarbon resources management of this region depends first of the prospecting rhythm and development of the largest fields. Intensifying of pipeline systems construction and establishing inter-state export-import relations should follow first step.
Key words: hydrocarbon, the largest field, oil and gas accumulation area, hydrocarbon system, oil and gas resources, Central Asia. |
