| On the petrography of clay-carbonate rocks of Chokrak and Caragan, Grozny-Dagestan region | |
| The petrographic characteristics of clay-carbonate rocks of the Middle Miocene of the Grozny-Dagestan region are presented. On the basis of comprehensive research the variety of clay-carbonate
rocks of Chokrak and Caragan is established. The physical and chemical conditions for the formation of clay-carbonate rocks of Chokrak and Caragan in the region are described.
The article is reprinted due to the urgency of oil industry renewal in the Northern Caucasus, especially in Dagestan and the Grozny district. Key words: petrographic and mineralogical studies, clay-carbonate rocks, composition of carbonate rocks, the Middle Miocene, the Grozny-Dagestan region. |
