Ostashkovichi oilfield - seepage behavior under oil displacement in halite-cemented carbonate reservoirs (Republic of Belarus) | |
Development activity of intersalt section Ostashkovichi oilfield is accompanied by on-going structural re-arrangement of the seepage as a result of halite dissolving in both water-oil contact zone and productive reservoir section. The computer simulation of the development history of intersalt section has shown that the seepage structure re-arrangement in water-oil contact zone leads to increasing rates of reservoir pressure and inroad of water into production wells.
