| Unlicensed area of Timan-Pechora province: evaluation of investment attractiveness of local objects | |
| On the basis of the results of geological and economic evaluation of subsoil blocks within the Timan-Pechora province the most significant determinants of commercial interest of subsoil users and perspectives of involving oil resources in the study and subsequent development are investigated, i.e. structure of the resource base from geological point of view (size and depth of occurrence of the projected objects, productivity of host deposits), the availability of transport and production infrastructure, and the level of the tax burden. The influence of some of these factors is subject to regulation. The possible ways of increasing the investment attractiveness of oil assets that can stimulate licensing process in the region are described.
