Formation genesis of Silurian reservoirs belonging to the central part of the Chernyshev Ridge | |
The lithology of Silurian rocks, poorly studied by drilling in the area of strong dislocations occuring in the central part of the Chernyshev Ridge (Timan-Pechora petroleum basin) was investigated. The methods of the litho-facial analysis, analysis of the GIS data, and petrophysical analysis were used. The facial model according to which the territory of the central part of Chernyshev Ridge in Silurian time was located in a border area between tough Bolshezemlya and plastic Kosyyu-Rogov base blocks and can be carried to situations of a ramp slope of the Bolshezemlya raising is proposed. Predictabilities of deposits formation are compared with features of the reservoir volumetric capacity. The most part of the studied samples of a core are characterized by low reservoir properties. The most perspective for formation of reservoir are the facies of carbonate shallows zones with a high share of primary porosity having the best collector properties.
