| Sections comparison of the Sigov Formation of the Ust-Yenisey and Turukhan-Eloguy regions of the Tazo-Kheta structural-facies area | |
| The article deals with issues of identification of the Sigov Formation (Upper Jurassic) within the Tazo-Kheta structural-facies area (northeastern Arctic region of Western Siberia). The sections of the formation in the southern and northern parts of the area were compared. On the basis of detailed subdivision and correlation of well sections in the Sigov Formation, individual sandy levels were identified and indexed. It is shown that sandy levels require establishing their own stratotypes in Ust-Yenisey and Turukhan-Eloguy subregions. Stratotype sections are proposed for sandy strata of the SG levels group.
