|Distribution of density of gas reserves and formation pressure gradients in fields of the western part of the Bukharo-Khiva region (Uzbekistan)|
|This article is devoted to the study of the distribution of the density of gas reserves, taking into account reservoir pressure gradients. The studies are based on scientific and theoretical views, as well as on actual data obtained from the fields of the western part of the Bukhara-Khiva region. Information is provided on the features of the lithological and stratigraphic structure, geotectonic position, productive levels and oil and gas content of the studied area. One of the key points of this study is that when selecting the composition and density of the drilling fluid, it is necessary to take into account, first of all, the reservoir pressure gradient. The author calculated the reserves density of the fields and analyzed the change in reservoir pressure gradients of productive levels in the contour of individual tectonic elements and separately for several accumulations. Based on the results of the research, the author gives specific recommendations for the localization and conduct of geological exploration within certain areas of tectonic elements in the western part of the Bukhara-Khiva region.
