Biostratigraphy of conodonts and foraminifera of Upper Devonian - Lower Permian of the Padimey Area (north-east of Timan-Pechora petroleum Province) - new data | |
The article considers new data on the biostratigraphy of the Upper Devonian Lower Permian of the Padimey Area (Vorkuta transverse uplift of the Cis-Uralian depression). Conodont Alteration Index allows reconstruct paleogeothermal gradient of 50°C per kilometer (20°C per kilometer accounting sediment compaction). The Lower Permian possesses thermal maturity of PK-MK1 grade, but the Upper Devonian has thermal maturity of MK1-2 grade.
