Seismogeological model and petroleum prospects of the Paleozoic-Mesozoic strata belonging to the north of Western Siberia on the basis of 2D, 3D seismic exploration | |
On the basis of 3D seismic exploration, a seismological characteristic is presented and an assessment of the prospects for the oil and gas potential of the Paleozoic, Triassic, Jurassic, Neocomian, Aptian and Albian-Cenomanian sections of the north of Western Siberia (Yamal Peninsula) is given. The identified hydrocarbon traps are mainly of combined type (lithological, structural-lithological, etc.).
