Sedimentological model of the Cretaceous strata of the Yamal Peninsula on the basis of composite geological and geophysical investigations | |
Based on a comprehensive analysis of paleogeomorphological studies, core analysis, field geophysical data, the facies conditions of sedimentation of Cretaceous sequences were restored. Prospective zones (river mouths, swells, ridges) have been identified for setting up 3D seismic surveys in order to forecast intricate several hydrocarbon traps.
