pdf Limestone microbialites in the Visean-Serpukhovian sections of the Unya River (Northern Urals)
The results of studies of the form of precipitation, distribution, and formation conditions of microbialites in limestone deposition types of the Visean-Serpukhovian, which are widespread in the southeastern boundary of the Timan-Pechora petroleum basin (Unya Cave section, Unya River, Northern Urals) are presented. It has been established that microbialites the Unya Cave section is divided into separate forms (microclots, bacterial biofilms, colonies of cyanobacteria), ooliths, oncoliths, stromatoliths, thromboliths, and dendroliths. Their composition and quantity change from base to top of section. The relatively deep-water Visean limestones contain only isolated microbial forms in small quantities. The shallow-water rocks of the upper part of the Kosogor level of the Serpukhovian section contain columnar and layered stromatolites. The extremely shallow deposits of the Protvian level of the Serpukhovian section contain ooids, stromatolites, thrombolites, and dendrolites. It is assumed that by the beginning of the Protvian time, a shallow-water zone had been formed in the area of the Unya Cave section.

pdf Formation of the Lower Carboniferous terrigenous rocks in the southern part of the Chernyshev Ridge
The south of the Chernyshev Ridge of the Timan-Pechora Province and adjacent territories are currently of great interest in terms of studying the formation and finding of new hydrocarbon accumulations. The composition of rocks, their thicknesses and petroleum source properties were analyzed and geochemical studies of the organic matter of the Lower Carboniferous terrigenous-carbonate strata were carried out. The mineral composition of terrigenous, carbonate and clayey rocks, the degree of their secondary transformations, are considered.

pdf Stratigraphy of Lower Carboniferous "Kazanskoe pleso" section (Unya River, Northern Urals)
New data on the stratigraphy of Carboniferous section in the middle reaches of the Unya River (Northern Urals) are presented. Based on the study of foraminifera and calcareous algae, the Visean and Early Serpukhovian ages has been established. The paper gives a brief description of the section with the boundaries location and the indication of the characteristics of the selected stratigraphic units, paleontological phototables of the foraminifera and algae associations of the Pesterkovian, Tulian, Aleksinskian, Mikhailovian, Venevian and Kosogorskian levels are given.

pdf New data on stratigraphy of Lower Carboniferous section at the Bol'shoy Peshcherniy Island (Unya river, Northern Urals)
The paper presents new data on the stratigraphy of the Eastern strip of Carboniferous section in the Unya river basin. Based on the study of foraminifera and calcareous algae the Upper Tournaisian - Visean age of the researched terrain has been set. The description is sustained by associations characterizing foraminifera of Kosvinian, Radaevkian, Tulian, Aleksinskian, Mikhailovian and Venevian levels.
