Interpretation of the type oil reservoirs of Osa productive unit - the Markovo field (Eastern Siberia) study using modern geological and geophysical data | |
The oil accumulations of the Osa productive unit belong to the lithologically screened type, complicated by a system of tectonic disturbances of submeridional strike. The use of geological and field data made it possible to delineate a zone of increased productivity, which represents a zone of destruction of unit rocks. Hydrodynamic connectivity between wells in the unit was confirmed by the results of hydrodynamic testing. Biohermic limestones and heterocrystalline dolomites have the best reservoir properties. The dominant role in the classification of “reservoir-non-reservoir” rocks is played by soluble minerals, the amount of which determines the reservoir properties. The void space in these rocks is represented by residual voids and leaching voids. Using an of the quality, classification and distribution of reservoirs, maps of oil-saturated effective thicknesses were constructed and hydrocarbon reserves were calculated. Methodological approach for local prediction of the petroleum bearing Paleozoic-Mecozoic strata of the Yamal Peninsula on the basis of complex geophysical investigations | |
On the basis of a comprehensive analysis of various geophysical studies, when assessing the prospects for the petroleum bearing Paleozoic-Mesozoic strata, a pattern recognition technique was used. The contours of 24 hydrocarbon accumulations identified in the interval of different stratigraphic levels participated as reference objects. The selection of areas similar to the standards was carried out according to three groups of data - the results of the analysis of potential area, the structural factor and the data of remote sensing of the Earth. As a result, integrated maps of oil and gas potential prospects were compiled, on which prospective objects identified earlier on the basis of 2D, 3D seismic data were placed. Promising zones identification in the pre-Jurassic section of the Sredne-Nazym field in Western Siberia on the basis of compilation of geological and geophysical data | |
A characteristic of the lithological composition of the Pre-Jurassic section of the Sredne-Nazym field is given. Recognition of intrusive bodies from seismic data and analysis of disjunctive tectonics have been performed. Entry of intrusion bodies led to the deformation of volcanogenic-sedimentary section with the appearance of specific faults. The methodology and results of zoning the prospects of Pre-Jurassic section included standard-free typing of the 3D seismic cube, analysis of the interval velocities of the parametric sweep of reflections in the interval of the upper part of the Pre-Jurassic section, and integration of geological and geophysical data. The results of drilling three new exploratory wells confirmed the results based on the proposed technology for forecasting promising zones in the interval of Pre-Jurassic volcanogenic-sedimentary section. On the basis of 3D seismic exploration, a seismological characteristic is presented and an assessment of the prospects for the oil and gas potential of the Paleozoic, Triassic, Jurassic, Neocomian, Aptian and Albian-Cenomanian sections of the north of Western Siberia (Yamal Peninsula) is given. The identified hydrocarbon traps are mainly of combined type (lithological, structural-lithological, etc.). Sedimentological model of the Cretaceous strata of the Yamal Peninsula on the basis of composite geological and geophysical investigations | |
Based on a comprehensive analysis of paleogeomorphological studies, core analysis, field geophysical data, the facies conditions of sedimentation of Cretaceous sequences were restored. Prospective zones (river mouths, swells, ridges) have been identified for setting up 3D seismic surveys in order to forecast intricate several hydrocarbon traps. Characteristic of the regional building model Yamal-Kara region on the basis of potential fields analysis | |
The analysis of the anomalies aggregate of the magnetic and gravitational fields of the Yamal-Kara region is carried out. A number of transformants of fields with different frequency characteristics were constructed, which made it possible to trace the superorder structures of the region and the probability of the distribution of graben-rift systems. Analysis of potential fields revealed two stress systems that formed the shape of the earth's crust in the northern part of Western Siberia.
