| Bajocian-Bathonian strata of the north-eastern regions of Western Siberia: geological structure, seismic stratigraphy, zoning by seismic sections types | |
| The paper presents data on the geological structure of the Malyshev and Leontyev Formations in the northeastern regions of Western Siberia. Based on a comprehensive analysis of the seismic wave pattern of the Jurassic interval of the section on a series of time seismic profiles, data from geophysical well studies and fauna determinations, a detailed correlation of the Middle Jurassic strata was carried out. Based on the results of comprehensive studies, three types of section of Bajocian-Bathonian strata were identified. Structural maps were constructed along the surface of the Malyshev and Leontyev Formations, as well as maps of the thicknesses of the formations. Zoning of the Malyshev Formation by types of section was carried out. | Sections comparison of the Sigov Formation of the Ust-Yenisey and Turukhan-Eloguy regions of the Tazo-Kheta structural-facies area | |
| The article deals with issues of identification of the Sigov Formation (Upper Jurassic) within the Tazo-Kheta structural-facies area (northeastern Arctic region of Western Siberia). The sections of the formation in the southern and northern parts of the area were compared. On the basis of detailed subdivision and correlation of well sections in the Sigov Formation, individual sandy levels were identified and indexed. It is shown that sandy levels require establishing their own stratotypes in Ust-Yenisey and Turukhan-Eloguy subregions. Stratotype sections are proposed for sandy strata of the SG levels group. | The article deals with stratigraphical indexing of the Lower and Middle Jurassic productive levels developed in the northeastern part of the West Siberian petroleum province. Based on lithological division and detailed correlation of borehole sections, sandy levels were identified and indexed in the Lower-Middle Jurassic section of the western part of the Yenisei-Khatanga regional trough and adjacent areas. It is shown that Lower and Middle Jurassic sandy levels require establishing their own stratotypes in oil and gas bearing regions located within separate facies zones (marine and continental sedimentogenesis) of the Western Siberian Jurassic sedimentary basin. Stratotype sections for sandy beds from the YuE reservoir group are proposed.
