Electrical exploration survey possibilities in the study of Pre-Jurassic formations of the Northern edge of Amu-Darya basin | |
The result of geophysical research in the Bukhara-Khiva region covering the territory of the Northern board of Amu-Darya troughs for the study of Pre-Jurassic formations proved fundamental possibilities of electric exploration by magnetic-telluric sounding for tracking of the surface Pre-Jurassic formations and basement, faults and highlighting of low density zones may serve as traps for hydrocarbons accumulation.
Keywords: accumulation of hydrocarbons, Pre-Jurassic formations, the zone of low density, electrical exploration, Amu-Darya basin. |
