A method is proposed for exploration for oil and gas promising structures by identifying and tracing subsidence experienced zones of local extension that control oil and gas occurrences and hydrocarbon accumulations in the Jurassic and Paleozoic sections of the Kuanysh-Koskalin swell (Ustyurt area).

pdf Fault-block model of the Shege structure of the Takhtakir shaft based on interpretation of seismic and drilling data (Republic of Karakalpakistan, Uzbekistan)
The analysis of seismic exploration and drilling activity within the Takhtakair shaft of the Ustyurt petroleum province of the Republic of Uzbekistan, which served as the basis for the development of a geological model of the structure and substantiation of further exploration activity. The main purpose of the presented studies is to develop new directions for geological exploration in the Shege area to clarify the structure and obtain an increase in hydrocarbon reserves.
