pdf  Petroleum potential of Precambrian strata of Kuyumbinsko-Yurubcheno-Tokhomsky oil and gas accumulation area
New information on geology and petroleum potential of the Precambrian strata of eastern Siberia (on the example Kuyumbinsko-Yurubcheno-Tokhomsky oil and gas accumulation area) is provided on the results of synthesis of current and recent geological and geophysical data on the basis of modern exploration technology. Oil and gas potential of Eastern Siberia is proved to be confined to large massive fractures made up by the Upper Proterozoic relatively consolidated metasomatically dolomitized chemi-biogenic carbonate rocks.
Key words: Kuyumbinsko-Yurubcheno-Tokhomsky oil and gas accumulation area, oil, gas, oil and gas fields’ formation, fractures-reservoirs, new seismic technology.
