From 1964 to 2003 worked in Oil and Gas Exploration Administration of "Turkmengas", "Turkmenneft", "Turkmengeologiya", and at the Institute of Oil and Gas. In the period 1996-2003 - Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the journal "Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan".
In 2000 defended a dissertation "Geological framework and ways of achieving gas and oil potential of the southern Turan plate" in IGiRGI (Moscow).
Participated in a number of international projects for Geology and Energy Resources in Central, Northern and Eastern Asia, the Russian Federation and the Commonwealth of Independent States.
In VSEGEI deals with systematic research of geology and petroleum potential of the southern cross-border region of CIS, foreign Asia.
Author of more than 100 publications.

The features study of the hard-to-recover associated gas fields in Central Asia are considered, the prospects for development of which in modern conditions seem insignificant. On the territory of Uzbekistan, this is associated with large volumes and costs of specialized activity with unpredictable results within the five selected fields in the Lower-Middle Jurassic coal-bearing strata. It is more expedient to explore complex deep-seated accumulations of free gas in the lower levels of the sedimentary cover and sub-cover Paleozoic column. In certain zones of adjacent Turkmenistan, comprehensive exploration of deep-seated accumulations of free gas and gas of tight rocks in the terrigenous, carbonate Jurassic and Neocomian time is recommended if it is impossible to pre-localize fields of hard-to-recover associated gas due to the much poorer exploration of the territory.

pdf Traditional and recent structural-tectonic and petroleum geological models of the southern Turan Plate in the context of the Caspian international geological project
Recent structural-tectonic and petroleum geological models of the south of the Turan Plate, built at the institutes of the Russian Academy of Sciences (GIN RAS, etc.), and traditional models created at VSEGEI (Russia) and IGIRNIGM (Uzbekistan) are analyzed and compared. The main objects of analysis are graben-rift systems, petroleum provinces and basins, petroleum bearing and promising structures of the sedimentary cover (Jurassic-Quaternary), quasi-platform (Permo-Triassic) and pre-platform (Pre-Permian Paleozoic) formations. The main object in the petroleum geological part of the project is the traditional "Map of petroleum potential of the Caspian-Aral-Amudarya region" on a scale of 2.5M.
