pdf Evaluation of hydrocarbons generation volume in Bazhenov Formation of the north Western Siberia
A structural and lithologic model of the Mesozoic-Cenozoic sedimentary cover was developed based on the interpretation of logging data from 48 wells and structural interpretations. Using one-dimensional modeling and estimation of heat flow values in boreholes, a scheme of heat flow density distribution through the base of the sedimentary cover was constructed. The geochemical parameters of the Bazhenov oil and gas producing formation in the north of Western Siberia are substantiated. Distribution schemes of liquid and gaseous hydrocarbons generation density are given.
