pdf Structural interpretation of the Yunyakha area based on the sedimentation model of the Bolshaya nadota isolated carbonate platform
The 1-Yunyakha borehole is located in the Polar Urals, where the Elets and Lemva structural zones are in contact. Sedimentological analysis can be performed on paragenetic associations by examining core samples from the Late Devonian - Early Carboniferous interval of the section. These associations are also present in sections of the Polar Ural (Bolshaya Nadota) isolated carbonate platform (Bolshaya Nadota River basin outcrop complex). This enables the use of the previously developed sedimentation model to analyze the spatial distribution of associations in the Yunyakha area. Paragenetic associations are subdivided into three groups: Group 1 - bioherm, Group 2 - oolitic section and its derivatives, and Group 3 - clastic plumes surrounding organogenic buildups. It was found that the Upper Devonian part of the section in the Yunyakha area is a large area with relatively small algal bioherms and amphipores in the rear parts. In the Late Devonian - Early Carboniferous section, an oolitic megabank has been identified. The overlying Early Carboniferous rocks are recognized as marginal parts of a reefogenic algal complex similar to the Olysya reef. Lateral development of clastic plumes of the reef area is suggested.
