pdf  The scheme of biostratigraphic separation of the Turonian stage, north-west of the Pacific paleobiogeographical region
The separation of the Turonian stage by inoceramides and ammonoideas for the Pacific paleogeographical region (PPR) is performed. The description of the Turonian stage zonal taxons is given. It is proposed to assign Turonian deposits containing the inoceramides of the Lamarckoid group to the regiostage of the PPR. The prospects of hydrocarbon presence in the Turonian deposits are considered.
Key words: Turonian stage, Upper Cretaceous, inoceramides, ammonoideas, regiostage, Pacific paleogeographical region, West Sakhalin basin, Penzha depression, Sakhalin, Koryakiya, Kamchatka.
