| Revision, reestimation and representation in a modern format are necessary for the nearest reserve of hydrocarbon raw material of Russia | |
| The reserves of fields of an undistributed fund and the prospective resources of objects prepared for deep drilling are the most justified and reliable part of Russia hydrocarbon potential. The volumes of hydrocarbon raw material of the nearest reserve are considerable but their justification and trustworthiness are extremely distinct. The works on its revision and reestimation being carried out must reveal the active part of the reserve having the most actual licensing prospects.
The reserves of the fields must be recalculated and reevaluated in accordance with the new “Classification of reserves and resources of oil and combustible gases” confirmed as of 01.01.2005; prospective resources are calculated and reestimated by the previous procedure.
The works on revision and reestimation are conducted synchronously by the same organizations that simplifies the necessary and inevitable coordination of their work.
