Palynostratigraphy of the Middle Permian and Lower Triassic section of Dolgin field | |
The results of comprehensive palynostratigraphic and palynofacial study of the Middle Permian and Lower Triassic deposits of Dolgin area (Timan-Pechora petroleum Basin) are given. The palynocomplexes that are comparable to miospore complexes from the key and reference wells sections of the Timan-Pechora Basin, as well as to zonal palynocomplexes of the Permian and Lower Triassic of the East European platform, are identified and described in the studied intervals of wells drilled on the field. This has allowed us to reliably establish the presence of Kazanian deposits of the Middle Permian and Induan deposits (Lower Triassic) within the studied area.
The results of palynofacial analysis showed that deposits of Kazanian stage were formed in the coastal marine environment, while the sedimentation of Induan stage occurred in continental environments - in an alluvial-lake plains.

The systematic composition of the palynocomplexes received from the Permian deposits of the northern Timan-Pechora petroleum province penetrated by the wells 1-Narian-Mar and 140-Kolguev (Malozemelsko-Kolguev monocline) is concretized.
