| The process of creating and developing the information environment of a geological-exploration enterprise is described for the Timan-Pechora Research Centre as an example. The aspects of structuring of the registration of geological data corporative information system, the interaction of the system with the specialized software, the software of general purpose and GIS instruments are considered. Some examples of using the complex of programs for solving the applied geological problems on the territory of the Timan-Pechora province are given.
