Petroleum bearing composite structures of Cretaceous strata belonging to the Western regions of the Yenisey-Khatanga regional trough | |
The Cretaceous strata of the north-eastern regions of the West Siberian petroleum province are one of the promising and poorly studied objects of the Arctic regions of Russia. The current issues of identification of Cretaceous reservoirs and petroleum bearing of the Yenisey-Khatanga regional trough are considered. In the western part of this depression, which is the most promising for the search for petroleum accumulations, the authors carried out zoning by type of section and identified the Tanamo-Agapsk and Malokheta-Pyasinsk zones. They have different distribution patterns of Cretaceous strata and fluid cap rocks, types of rock stratification (horizontally layered or clinoform structure), type of distribution of hydrocarbon accumulations across the studied section. Petroleum reservoirs are identified in each of these zones, their brief characteristics are given. Methodology for integrating estimates of hydrocarbon resources on the example of the Lower Cretaceous complexes of the Yenisey-Khatanga oil and gas region | |
Methods of probabilistic estimation of the magnitude and structure (distribution over clusters of different sizes) of free gas resources and coordination of estimates obtained by various methods are proposed. The methods were tested on the example of the Lower Cretaceous complex of the Yenisey-Khatanga oil and gas region. Based on the generalization of available information on the identified accumulations, a probabilistic assessment of the magnitude and structure of free gas resources is given for the first time. The localization of the obtained estimates was carried out with an accuracy of the boundaries of individual oil and gas bearing areas. A probabilistic prediction of the magnitude of undeveloped hydrocarbon clusters is performed. Reservoir distribution forecast of the Achimov strata (using seismofacial and dynamic analysis) in the Arctic regions of Western Siberian sedimentary basin | |
Of the basis of geological data and 2D seismic exploration, methodological issues of forecasting reservoirs of the Achimov strata in the Arctic regions of Western Siberia poorly studied by drilling are considered. The typification of deep sea facies and the corresponding electrometric models are presented. On the example of the East Medvezhye, Deryabin and Payut-Noskov areas with different degrees of study and located in different structural zones, the dependencies between the dynamic attributes of seismic records in the recording interval of Achimov Formation productive strata and their geological parameters are displayed. Based on dynamic and seismofacial analyzes, when integrated with other geological and geophysical methods, zones favorable for reservoir development are identified within the areas. The studies confirmed the relevance of the seismic stratigraphic method in predicting oil and gas accumulation zones in Achimov Formations clinoform structures using 2D seismic data. Features of formation of Gydan Peninsula Hauteriv-Barremian clinoform | |
The conditions of the formation of the Hauteriv-Barremian sequences of the Gydan Peninsula are considered. Based on the data of geophysical studies of wells and seismic facies analysis, paleogeographic reconstructions were performed for the hauteriv-barremian regional clinoforms, which are the main ones in terms of sedimentary filling in the study area. Paleogeographic maps at the time of completion of the formation of clinoforms, as well as thickness maps are presented and described in detail. The presented maps reflect the lateral filling model of the deep-water sedimentary basin as a result of avalanche sedimentation. Paleogeographic areas, zones of sediment accumulation of different lithological composition, and external provenance areas of terrigenous material are identified. A forecast is given on the role of the Achimov petroleum bearing section in the distribution of geological hydrocarbon reserves of the Berriasian - Lower Aptian strata within the most profound and least studied by drilling areas of the West Siberian sedimentary basin. The studies are based on data from 184 oil and gas fields, within which more than 1,500 productive levels have been discovered in the Berriasian - Lower Aptian sequences. Seismogeological model of the Berrisian-Lower Aptian section of the Gydan Peninsula | |
The questions of the structure Berriasian-Lower Aptian section of the Gydan Peninsula of Western Siberia are considered. Eight seismic compounds are allocated in their composition, most of which have a wedge shape and correspond to third-order sequences. Their seismogeological characteristics are given, structural maps and isopach maps are constructed, considered several related to petroleum. The main prospects for the search for hydrocarbon accumulations in the Berriasian-Lower Aptian section are associated with the Achimov petroleum system. Two types of promising areas have been identified for the lithological traps searching in the area belonging to the Achimov Formation. Some of them are confined to depocenters of clinoform accumulation, the latter represent zones of regional wedging of the distal strata of the Achimov Formation in the direction of the Taimyr paleoonshore.
