This paper performs coupled paleotemperature modelling of foci of hydrocarbon generation in sedimentary basins: the “present” Jurassic-Cretaceous basin and the Silurian, the Devonian and Carboniferous “paleobasins” in the territory of the Ostanin and the Gerasimov oil-gas condensate fields of Tomsk Region. It was stated that under the geological and geophysical circumstances within these fields’ sections the oil source rock, more likely, is the Upper Jurassic Bazhenov Formation and the source rock for generating gas and condensate are the Paleozoic domanic type rocks.
