Hydrocarbon traps in Triassic sedimentary rocks of the Scythian-Turan platform in the areas of development of fold-thrust dislocations | |
The structure of fold-thrust dislocations in Triassic strata of the northern side of the South Mangyshlak trough is considered. Previously unknown, gentle intraformational tectonic disturbance formed in a tangential compression environment are described. It is shown that the zones of dislocation and decompression of the volcanogenic-carbonate petroleum bearing formation are confined to the arched parts of the thrust anticlines. The active participation of high-energy deep fluids in the formation of reservoirs in low-permeable rocks of the Triassic strata, using zones of tectonic decompression of rocks as migration channels, is substantiated.
