| Formation of the Lower Carboniferous terrigenous rocks in the southern part of the Chernyshev Ridge | |
| The south of the Chernyshev Ridge of the Timan-Pechora Province and adjacent territories are currently of great interest in terms of studying the formation and finding of new hydrocarbon accumulations. The composition of rocks, their thicknesses and petroleum source properties were analyzed and geochemical studies of the organic matter of the Lower Carboniferous terrigenous-carbonate strata were carried out. The mineral composition of terrigenous, carbonate and clayey rocks, the degree of their secondary transformations, are considered.
