	Formation history of the Kimmeridgian-Valanginian complex of the north-east part of the Pur-Tazov basin were analyzed; features of the hydrocarbon traps structure and the evolution of hydrocarbon systems in the region were reviewed, and the main directions for the oil and gas exploration in the clinoform complex of the north-eastern Pur-Tazov basin were outlined. Key words: clinoform complex, Kimmeridgian-Valangin, hydrocarbon system evolution, hydrocarbon potential, Pur-Tazov basin.
