Bajocian-Bathonian strata of the north-eastern regions of Western Siberia: geological structure, seismic stratigraphy, zoning by seismic sections types | |
The paper presents data on the geological structure of the Malyshev and Leontyev Formations in the northeastern regions of Western Siberia. Based on a comprehensive analysis of the seismic wave pattern of the Jurassic interval of the section on a series of time seismic profiles, data from geophysical well studies and fauna determinations, a detailed correlation of the Middle Jurassic strata was carried out. Based on the results of comprehensive studies, three types of section of Bajocian-Bathonian strata were identified. Structural maps were constructed along the surface of the Malyshev and Leontyev Formations, as well as maps of the thicknesses of the formations. Zoning of the Malyshev Formation by types of section was carried out.
