pdf Assessing long-term hydrocarbon perspective production in the Yamal petroleum province using a simulation approach
This study presents a scenario-based forecasting model for oil and natural gas production in the Yamal petroleum province through 2050. The methodology is based on the integration of data from existing fields and simulation modeling of resource development. Actual production profiles obtained from design documentation were used for existing fields. For undiscovered fields, typical development profiles were constructed based on normalized historical data. Calculations were performed for three scenarios reflecting different rates of new facility commissioning. The results indicate that without active development of new resources, oil and gas production in the region will begin to decline as early as the 2030s. However, even a moderate expansion of geological exploration could smooth out the decline and maintain high production units until the mid-21st century. The presented model can be used in developing strategies for resource development in the Arctic zone and planning geological exploration activities.

pdf Quantitative assessment of hydrocarbon resources in the Yamal petroleum province using the pareto distribution
This article presents an assessment of the hydrocarbon resource potential of the Yamal petroleum province using quantitative modeling methods for the accumulations size distribution. The calculations are based on a modified Pareto distribution method adapted to the conditions of a geological exploration activity filter effect. The results are compared with actual data from the State Reserves Register. The most promising petroleum-bearing strata are identified, particularly Aptian-Albian-Cenomanian and Jurassic strata, all with high potential for resource growth. The model made it possible to determine the distribution of undiscovered resources by size ranges, that can be used for planning geological exploration activity and hydrocarbon raw material base strategic management.

pdf Lithology and filtration-capacity potential of the Malyshev Formation in the north of the Yamal Peninsula
The results of a comprehensive study of the geological structure and formation conditions of terrigenous strata of the Middle Jurassic (Malyshev Formation) within the Poruy swell of the Yamal Peninsula are presented. Based on a detailed analysis of core and geophysical well survey data, a detailed lithological characteristics of this section was carried out, the main lithotypes were identified, their filtration-capacity properties were analysed, and sedimentation conditions were determined.
