Oil and gas potential of the central part of the Chernyshev swell based on geological exploration data at the Adak area | |
Unique geological data for the strong dislocations area in the central part of the Chernyshev swell have been obtained through geological exploration work carried out by OOO Gazprom
Pererabotka at the Adak licensed block. For the first time the subthrust formations of the Talbey block have been drilled. Oil-bearing capacity of the Middle Ordovician – Lower Devonian and
Domanic-Tournasian oil and gas bearing complexes has been proved (wells 2-Adak and 1-Kharutamylk). Oil and gas potential for the Adak and adjacent areas in the central part of the
Chernyshev swell have been proved by complex multi relational analysis.
Key words: reservoir, deposit, oil and gas bearing complex, bioherm, brecciated aprons, thrust system, paleofacies reconstructions, palinspastic reconstructions, the Chernyshev swell. |
